Shu Uemura Art of Sewing Class
Luxelab Salon hosted a Shu Uemura art of sewing class taught by Shu Uemura Haigo artist/Luxelab Master Stylist Lauren Sill. All the hair was done using only a needle and thread for a weightless, more durable option than using pins. The hair was prepped with Satin Design and Ample Angora to smooth the cuticle and add substance to the hair. Then the stylists created a fabric out of the hair with Volumemaker and sewed the updo in. The results were really amazing, perfect updo's and not a single pin in sight! Check out the work from our talented stylists below.
